St. Andrew's and Tanzania's Promise Village Academy Start Long-Distance Friendship
Over the last two days, second and third graders connected with students at Promise Village Academy in Lenjani, Tanzania.
St. Andrew's parents Ravi and Robyn Reddy helped to start Promise Village Academy and facilitated this partnership. Through a delightful conversation via Zoom, St. Andrew's and Promise Village Academy students inquired about each other's typical school day, hobbies, traditions, and more.
"We're a lot alike!" said one second grader at the end of the call. Students and teachers are so excited to continue the growing friendship between our schools. Opportunities like these are pivotal for helping our students become global citizens. A huge thank you to the Reddy family, the PVA faculty, and second and third grade teachers for making this special exchange between our students possible!
