Dance: The Highlights

This past Saturday, The Highlights attended their very dance competition with Crowd Pleasers at Dripping Springs High School. 38 high school and middle schools from Central Texas competed.

In their division, High School Classic Varsity Team, The Highlights placed in the top 5, earning 5th overall alongside Extra-Large, Large, and medium teams. They were the only small team to do so.

In our division class, High School Classic Varsity Small team, The Highlights earned 1st place and were named Grand Champions!

Soloists Katie and Sofia received Platinum scores.

Soloists Audrey, Anastasia and Anna Jane received High Platinum Scores.

All three of their routines, Jazz, Lyrical and Pom received Platinum ratings and the Best in Class award. Meaning they received the highest score for their routine in that genre.
