Football

The St. Andrew’s football program begins in the 5th grade and culminates with an Upper School program.

In 5th/6th grades, we offer flag football and our teams participate within the Austin Inter-Parochial League (AIPL). The AIPL consists of numerous institutions throughout the greater Austin area.

For students in 7th/8th grade, we provide the opportunity to compete in 11-man tackle football. 6th graders may petition to join the team and will be reviewed on a case by case basis by the athletics department. If admitted, there is no guarantee of playing time.

At the Upper School, we currently have one 9th-12th grade program, with plans to return to SPC 3A football. The SPC 3A division consists of top academic and athletic schools that are located in Dallas, Ft. Worth, Houston, and Oklahoma City.
